July.  It seems to be when you get the most, colorful, of pregnant mamas.  August did rival them for a while in 2009 though.  I am wondering if they are going to this coming year?  One more month till we start hearing from our August 2010 mamas.  But until then, we have our newly pregnant July mamas to keep up entertained.

How soon did you feel your baby move?  24 weeks? 14?  Maybe even, um 5? Mommy11-02-08 feels her little baby moving already, and despite others telling her it’s not possible, doesn’t care to believe it and even cites from Blurtit.com where a poster tells her that she shouldn’t listen to anyone, of course it’s the baby!

Congratulations on your pregnancies July 2010 Mamas!  We wish you safe and happy pregnancies.  We look forward to hearing from you!

Who Let the Dogs Out?

I do not like dogs. I have thought I liked dogs at various points. I am just not a dog person.

But to put down a perfectly healthy dog, in case it is not good with my future kids would never cross my mind.

The OP of this thread, wants reassurance that this is the right thing to do. At first she says it is her idea, that she has not even brought it up to her DH (whom she has only known a year and a half), then she says it is really his idea. And of course her 13 lbs kick ‘em dog would never harm a hair on her yet to be born babies’ head. (Yes she is having twins).

Well let’s see if I had to choose between a dog I have had for 12 years or a woman whom I have only known a year and a half…. Peace out woman.

BBCPS2, you will be…er… um…well….?

Apparently a coup d’etat has happened on Babycenter Post Secret 2.   To make a long store short, the owner got tired and handed over the reigns.  The new owner wanted help, so asked a friend.  Once the friend was in, she deleted both of the other two completely, changed all the passwords, and posted a big FU to them and all the others on the site.

Any ideas as to who these mystery players are?  Is it possible it’s all a scam?  Let us hope it’s the not.

Blame Canada!

Are you holding onto the sinking ship tonight?  Want to air your thoughts on what is going down?  Apparently, even though it’s in its last few hours, it doesn’t mean Rachel has let up on her duties.  Threads are being deleted and posters banned.  Sounds like a normal day North of the border, Eh?

Where Have You Been?

There really is no such thing as bad publicity now is there?  Every few weeks a thread about MDU will pop up somewhere on BBC, usually on a new birthboard  which is why we were surprised to see it mentioned on the Debate Team this week.

I’m not really sure what to make of either of these two comments.   How did the bargain hunters get them kicked out of the states when it’s BBC Canada that is closing down their US Bargain Hunters board?  As for the old BHB not having any bargains, well anyone who was a regular there knows damn well that isn’t true.  There were some impressive deals to be found on that board, the drama was just the icing on the cake!

Who wants some ScoobieSnacks?

A thread was started over on CBBC about how CBBC and Rachel aren’t to blame, that it’s all NBBC’s fault. Up came a poster, named scoobiesnacks_.  Notice that extra little bit at the end?  It looked like she was impersonating another member to start drama.  Because Marlee has more class and would never be that rude or snarky to her friends.

Then Rachel decided to check in on it, and SURPRISE!  No one is impersonating anyone.  It IS Marlee!  Nice try Marlee, but apparently Rachel has said “screw it, let’s go crazy!” and started outing the truth.

Update:  Apparently MayaandChloesmom didn’t believe that it was Marlee and contacted her.  She told MACM that she does indeed have two scoobie snacks accounts, but this one is NOT her.  Rachel replied back:

Canada is closing the border

I am sure by now that everyone has heard.  Riots have broken out across America.  The Canadians have said Adieu to the Americans. You have to admit, Rachel sounds absolutely GIDDY about the whole thing.  I think we can all imagine her cracking open a beer or a bottle of champagne and cackling like Margaret Hamilton did in the Wizard of Oz.

That’s So Gay

Normally, the debate team is just too easy.  You can head over there and find all sorts of drama mixed with little gems of stupidity.  But I came across this little gem today.  It seemed worthy.

One poster wants to punch cute little Hillary Duff in the face and tell her to mind her own business.

So, do you think before you speak?  From now on, when we think something is stupid or lame should we started saying “that’s so Babycenter member!”
